SAM is an app that can help you learn what is causing your anxiety and emotions, and teach you how to regain control of those feelings. The app features easy-to-follow menus, graphical displays that help monitor your anxiety, and guidance on self-help habits. SAM also offers 25 self-help options including health and anxiety, thinking and anxiety, and mental relaxation.
Headspace is used by those who want help by meditation. The app has a user-friendly animated interface, and uses videos to illustrate most important points. Headspace teaches tips for increased concentration and relaxation, mindfulness and cognitive diffusion, and breathing exercises. It is not recommended as a substitute for anxiety treatment.
Optimism helps to track moods for those with bipolar disorder and depression. The app lets a user chart daily records such as well-being, exercise, adequate sleep and coping. The person keeps track of triggers, symptoms, and “stay well strategies,” and learns more about all of the factors that affect their mental health. Optimism documents a wellness plan that is updated regularly.
4.) Stop Panic and Anxiety Help
Stop Panic and Anxiety Help is for the person who suffers panic attacks from Panic Disorder. The app teaches a user to record what caused the attack in a journal, and write down how they got past it. It also features audios to teach relaxation, emotion audios to help a user achieve a calm state, and articles about panic, anxiety and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
5.) The Worry Box: Anxiety Self Help
The Worry Box teaches a user to write down their worries and anxieties, while providing questions and directions to help reduce their levels. Worry Box audios will help a user decide whether their worries are important or unimportant, or if they are controllable or uncontrollable. App audios help improve their anxiety management skills, and it contains articles to help them understand cognitive behavioral therapy ideas.
Previdence is used to assess a user’s symptoms of depression, addictions, anxiety, and other problems. The app makes recommendations on how to deal with the problem it finds, and helps the user monitor their ongoing progress.
